i’m really worried about the boyfriend :( he’s been sick for 5 days now and it doesn’t seem like he’s getting any better and he got really really low last night and it fucking kills me that i can’t be there with him to help him get through it.

it kills me that i can’t make him feel happy. that i can’t take all that bad away and just pile it on to myself, and just leave him with happy thoughts and good feelings.

why can’t we just be happy. don’t we deserve it?

It was exhausting to do it with four people in the office but now there are only two of us

And if I ask for help with the workload I get “we simply don’t have enough people”

And then when I make mistakes because I am so overwhelmed by the amount of work I have, and how busy it is, I get “it doesn’t matter how busy it is, you have to do it and do it right”

I’m not sure if the monday to fridays (albeit with increasingly frequent ten hour days) and the $13 are worth making yourself sick with anxiety every weekday

My great-grandma passed away yesterday

She was very old, and had been declining for a couple of years

So this doesn’t come out of the blue

but

this is the first person’s passing i’ve experienced where I’m cognizant of it, and not 3 years old. It’s hitting me hard.

My uncle wrote a lovely little bit of all the things he remembers about her, and so badly wanted to add “squishing giant flying ants on the floor with her thumb”

but I didn’t want to ruin a nice thing
